Take an active role in negotiationg

These lessons are largely task-based and are planned to extend vocabulary, improve pronunciation, provide practice and develop confidence and fluency in a lively and communicative way. You are encouraged to take an active role in negotiating the weekly plan and start using your language skills from the very beginning of the course. Lessons are based on current methodology and course books, but our teachers also revel in finding authentic materials.

Improve your business presentation

During your studies on our Business English course you will learn how to conduct presentations in a business environment, undertake negotiations and have the ability to maintain your professional image during meetings. The course will cover different topics, and depending on your length of study you can experience the following: Finance, Marketing, e-commerce, cross-cultural meetings, etc.

All of our Business English Courses require a minimum level of B1. Any student who is under this intermediate level is recommended to study General English until their level has increased and they can then move to the Business English Course.

There are also several different variations of Business English at LAL Language Centres. If you want more of an intensive course, General English + Business is available in London, Torbay and Cape Town. The course includes 22.5 hours per week in two components: 20 lessons (15 hours) of Standard General English in classes of 12 students, and 10 lessons (7.5 hours) of Intensive Business English in classes of 6.

On the other hand, if you are already working and want to refine your knowledge during your free time, the Executive Business Weekend course takes place on the beautiful island of Malta.
