The additional 7.5 hours of English lessons per week provides the ideal conditions to further develop a wide range of vocabulary and improve your key communication skills. Grammatical structures and vocabulary dealt with in morning lessons can be put into practice in these lessons, allowing a greater degree of reinforcement.

Students on this course have the added benefits of regular monthly tutorials for the purposes of ensuring that they are happy with their progress and determining ways in which they can continue to improve their competence and effective communication.

Students also receive:

  • Free inbound transfer
  • University placement service
  • Private lessons every week designed in discussion with you to meet your particular needs
  • A free 'netbook' compact notebook computer in 2011 or a £150 cash card in 2012 on courses of 12 weeks +, which they can keep at the end of their course
  • Free upgrades to business, executive and exam courses (on request, subject to level)

This course is for students who are seeking to communicate effectively in everyday situations and gain a sound understanding of the principles of the English language. The morning lessons are designed around a course book and provides the opportunity for students to improve the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as enhancing and increasing their active / working vocabulary and grammar knowledge. By the end of their stay the students can expect to have improved not only their communicative competence, through their study of ‘survival’ English and ‘everyday’ English but will have also achieved a new level of learner autonomy and confidence.
