StopPress - The LAL Torbay students' magazine

August 2010

Andy Tyrrell, Editor of StopPress

Welcome to the August edition of Stop Press. This month we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of one of Britain’s leading health-care reformers, Florence Nightingale, and continue with the theme of great British women with a sneak preview of what you can expect at the school during our Agatha Christie week at the beginning of September.

We are also pleased to publish some work produced by the students who have been studying here, plus we tell you about a good walk from Torbay. If you don't know what nine miles feels like, don't wory - we look at our crazy measuring system too.
