There’s a definite touch of spring in the air, the days are getting longer and, hopefully, the worst of the cold weather is past.
Here at LAL Torbay we are full steam ahead preparing for Easter and the arrival of the Young Learners, as well as the start of the first of our four CELTA teacher training courses. We are looking forward to producing a new crop of teachers keen to spread their wings and help others to get to grips with the English language.
In this month's issue I will give you a brief history and tour of the beautiful city of Kraców, we have some work provided by some young Argentinean students who were studying at the school at the beginning of the month and for those of you studying at the school and thinking of going on the excursion to Cornwall, we have a look at the history of tin-mining.
