One of our students tell us what she thinks about England.

I couldn’t wait for the time when I could come back to my favourite land. I love British nature, and small family houses with old, lovely gardens.
Yes, this land is fantastic. Everywhere are trees and flowers, soft grass and grey-blue sea. The sky is full of clouds, where big seagulls are flying and screaming.
In some British towns every house is divided into two or more parts. It looks funny if every part is a different colour! And Britons are funny too. If I go with my friends to our nearest park, we watch how they are working on their small gardens doing normal things and every time they have a concentrated look on their faces. But if they have a break, or if they are with friends they are so talkative and funny. Like with our host grandma: she is perfect. We really like it here.

Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic. Prague is also called the “city of a hundred towers” in Czech, but in reality Prague has more than a thousand towers. Prague is a very old, mysterious and historical city. There are a lot of historic sites, like Charles Bridge, Klementium, St Vita’s Cathedral and Václavské [Wenceslas] Square.
Charles Bridge is one of the major attractions. It is a bridge across the River Vltava from the old town to the Malastrana [Lesser Town]. On the bridge there are many statues. Prague has a lot of beautiful places like Petrin Hill and the Lesser Town. There is a lot of nature in Prague.
People in Prague are friendly, but you must be friendly to them; if you are not, they can be very unfriendly. Albert Maĺek
