One of our teachers recently gave her students a series of pictures and asked her students to create a story to match them. Here are two examples of how imaginative they were…

Richard, Brenda and Jason
It was in 1941, Brenda was waiting in front of the Café de Paris as usual on Monday evening. She was impatient to be with her love. When Richard came, Brenda greeted him and embraced him tenderly.
In the background, Jason, Richard’s little brother, was watching them intently. In fact he was in love with Brenda and terribly jealous of his older brother. So during the night, he sneaked into the airport and damaged Richard’s plane. When it was time for Richard to take off, Brenda didn’t imagine that it would be the last time she would ever see him.
As planned, the crash was awful for Brenda and it was down to Jason to comfort her. He gave her all of his attention, he consoled her and drew closer and closer to her.
After the war, he proposed to her and she accepted but Richard would always be in her heart.

Greeting and farewell
On a glorious sunny day in Spring, Jenna was waiting for her fiancé Denham to join her. They had planned to spend the afternoon together to talk about their wedding. What she didn’t know was that Bruce, the butcher’s son she had known since childhood, was stalking her. When Denham eventually turned up they had a brief time together, making plans for their future life, deciding where they would live and how many guests would attend their ceremony.
Consumed by jealousy, Bruce couldn’t stand this picture of such a happy couple anymore. He had been in love with Jennifer for more than twenty years and had never been able to express his feelings to her.
Infuriated, he decided to damage Denham’s plane. While doing it he averted any kind or conscience by remembering how successful his rival was. A brilliant doctor’s son, pilot in the army, husband-to-be of the only girl Bruce had ever wanted. That was totally unfair. Nobody could have everything in this life.
The following day Jenna went with her sweetheart for her last goodbye before he had to go on a mission for the Air Force.
Meanwhile, with a mixture of excitement and fear, Bruce was watching the scene without breathing. After having taken off, the plane suddenly crashed before Jenna’s horrified eyes.
She spent several months crying and wondering why on earth she was so unlucky. Bruce stood by her side while she was mourning her fiancé, being her best support through those tough moments.
The girl, who could only see Bruce’s kindness to her, agreed to marry him one years later when he proposed to her.
However, during their wedding day she could not help thinking that she was supposed to have married another man who she was truly in love with.
Bruce had a satisfied smile during the ceremony, congratulating himself on having achieved such a wonderful goal.
