CELTA and DELTA
We're proud to run a successful teacher training programme at LAL Torbay.
This month we are particularly busy in the Teacher Training Department. We have a total of three teacher training courses running with 24 trainees on our Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) courses - 12 on the full-time and 12 on the part-time course - and as well as this we have seven candidates studying the Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA) Module 3, five of whom are also studying Module 2, and a further five doing Module 3.
Of the eight candidates who passed our last DELTA course, two of them passed with merit and two with distinction.
