Flights & Transfers

LAL Fort Lauderdale has two airports nearby:
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport is about 30 minutes from the school and Miami International Airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away.

We offer shared transfers by minibus from both airports that can be booked in addition to your course.

You can book an optional ‘Meet & Greet’ service where a school representative will meet you, help with your baggage and arrange for the transfer.

However, if you wish to travel in style, a direct Executive Limousine service is available.

When students have picked up their luggage at Baggage Claim, they should go to “Ground Transportation” located outside the building on the sidewalk. If they are arriving at:

• Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport they should go to the Go Shuttle Transportation desk and approach their representative.
• Miami International Airport they should go to the Super Shuttle Transportation desk and approach their representative.

Students should provide the representative with their prepaid “Transfer to Accommodation Voucher” to arrange their shared ride to your accommodation and tip the driver at least USD 3. Our Arrival Transfers are prepaid for a shared-ride transfer only

If students have booked our Meet & Greet service, when they leave the Immigration & Customs area at the airport they will be met by a uniformed driver holding a sign with their last names written in large letters. They should not leave the airport, or take a taxi or the airport shuttle service. If students need help, they should call the emergency line at +1 954-401-7076.
