Social and Activity Programmes

Nobody doubts that the west of Ireland is distinctive in terms of its landscape and environment and also with its culture, heritage and warmth.
At Atlantic Language Galway we encourage our students to discover what the West has to offer for many reasons.

We are very proud of our place in the world and are delighted to show it off but we also know that the learning that students do in the school is greatly enhanced when they are involved in social and activity events. In many ways the magnificent landscape, the cosy pubs and the friendly people of the West are an extension of the school where students continue to learn about Irish culture and heritage while practicing and developing their language skills in the real world.

Being a city of festivals means that Galway has a constant line-up of wonderful events to attend. Two of the most renowned are the Galway Arts Festival and the Galway Racing Festival, both of which take place during the summer months, and which attract visitors from across the globe.
