Our Swiss partners ESL offer a wide range of programmes for both adults and young learners in France and Switzerland. There are year round schools in Lyon and Montreux and a selection of young learner programmes in both Swiss & French destinations:
France
Our partner, ESL, runs a popular school in Lyon. Located on a peninsula surrounded by two rivers in the centre of Lyon, ESL Lyon’s facilities are inside a beautiful 19th-century building on the banks of the Rhone in the midst of the cultural and festive offerings of the city’s downtown core. The school features 8 spacious, bright classrooms. With its high ceilings, each of these classrooms proudly boasts its own fireplace.
LAL Partner ESL’s residential centre in Cannes is located 15 minutes from the town centre and 20 minutes from the beaches and “La Croisette”. Built at the end of the 19th century, the two beautiful buildings that make up the course centre are brimming with all the charm of Cannes. Surrounded by a magnificent, 2-hectare private Mediterranean park, the Cannes campus comprises classrooms, a self-service restaurant, a projection room and sports grounds.
Switzerland
ESL's school for adults (16+) in Montreux is located on the city’s main street in one of Switzerland’s most famous tourist spots, on the banks of Lake Geneva. Courses include General French, Private Courses, Examination Courses, French Plus Courses and 50+ French.
LAL Partner ESL's course center for teens (14-17) is located a stone’s throw from the main station and a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva. This modern and welcoming centre has spacious, light classrooms. Accommodation at Montreux is in Host Families.
ESL runs programmes for young learners (13-17) at Leysin. With 16 classrooms, two restaurants and a cinema, the “Classic” ESL 4 stars course centre is ideally situated right in the middle of the tourist resort of Leysin. It’s an exceptional location for a linguistic break. The pupils are accommodated in 4-star bedrooms with private bathrooms, direct telephone lines and television.
