Flexible start dates

By offering the option of starting any Monday of the year you can plan your studies according to your own needs. Start when it suits you!

As long as you want

You can follow the programme for a semester (12 weeks), for the full academic year (32 weeks) or even a calendar year, whatever best fits your work or study schedules. Study for as long as you can!

Standard and Premium choices

Choose between our Premium options (a maximum of 6 students per class) and our Standard classes (maximum 12 students per class). If you follow a Premium programme in London you receive a FREE netbook computer to assist with your studies – it's yours for the duration of the programme and yours to keep afterwards too! – and a personal tutor who will guide you towards your goals and advise on the best study options.

We give you regular tests so we know how effectively you are progressing and where improvements and extra attention are required.

Free upgrades

Standard General

15 hours English lessons per week, max 12 students per class. Academic Long-stay Standard General English courses are ideal if you want plenty of free time to explore your chosen location and soak up the culture. Several add-on options are available whether you are looking for a more intensive programme, more individual attention, or some business-related tuition.

Standard Intensive

22.5 hours English lessons each week, max 12 students per class. This is an intensive course for students who wish to have the opportunity to enhance the skills of listening and speaking. This long-stay course from LAL London is for students who are seeking to communicate effectively in everyday situations and gain a sound understanding of the principles of the English language. By the end of their stay the students can expect to have improved not only their communicative competence, through their study of ‘survival’ English and ‘everyday’ English but will have also achieved a new level of learner autonomy and confidence.

Standard + Premium Intensive

22.5 hours English each week, max 6 students per class. Free £150 cash card for courses of 12 weeks +. This long-stay course from LAL London is for students who are seeking to communicate effectively in everyday situations and gain a sound understanding of the principles of the English language. By the end of their stay the students can expect to have improved not only their communicative competence, through their study of ‘survival’ English and ‘everyday’ English but will have also achieved a new level of learner autonomy and confidence. This is an intensive course for students who wish to have the opportunity to enhance the skills of listening and speaking. There are also two private lessons every week designed in discussion with you to meet your particular needs.
