You’ll meet students from all over the world and get to know them as you help them to settle in and practise their English as a welcome addition to the home. We have many host homes who love hosting our students, and we are sure that you will too.
We offer good rates of pay for hosting students. This money is paid weekly, directly to your bank account, so you never wait a long time to be paid.
Our team are on hand 24 hours a day on our dedicated local phone number.
We offer an action-packed daytime schedule for young students, including planned excursions every Saturday, plus optional evening activities. We also run an interesting range of excursions for adults.
We are proud of our reputation and strive for excellence in everything we do. We use trained teachers and are accredited by the British Council, which inspects us regularly. We take our responsibilities to our students and Host Families seriously.
First you must fill in an application form and contract and send them to our Accommodation Department. If you download the application form below, we will send you a contract when we receive your completed form.
When we have received these, we will arrange a home visit for an informal interview with you and to check the suitability of the house. During this visit we will be happy to answer any questions you have about hosting.
The head of the household must show us a valid enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (if you don’t have one already, we can help you to obtain one), and we may obtain references for families from Social Services for the peace of mind of our clients. It is, however, rare that we are advised that a family would be unsuitable to host students.
We will write to you to tell you whether we have been able to accept your application. When you are accepted, you will remain on our register unless you ask to be removed or, in exceptional circumstances, if you are in breach of the Host Home Contract.
