LAL Torbay is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK. We continually strive to achieve the highest standards, proud of being a centre of academic excellence and have been involved in training teachers of English as a foreign language for over 15 years.

I have been in LAL school for at least six months. In that time I have attended lots of different classes. This includes Intensive English classes, focus groups, private tuition, Business English, IELTS preparation and listening classes. This means that I’ve been taught by most of the teachers and I think they’ve been incredible because I really enjoyed being taught by them. Most importantly, my English has definitely improved in every way and I believe that I have achieved what I came for. Honestly if I am going to recommend any English school to my Syrian friends, it will be LAL.
