English for Business at LAL Torbay

If your motivation is effective communication in business these are the courses for you. At LAL Torbay we offer the option of a cost effective programme that combines General English classes with a Business English component.

In addition, our Executive or Premium Business programmes provide the option of a dedicated programme where we teach a variety of skills relevant to the world of international business communication, such as the language of presentations, meetings and negotiations.

I have been in LAL school for at least six months. In that time I have attended lots of different classes. This includes Intensive English classes, focus groups, private tuition, Business English, IELTS preparation and listening classes. This means that I’ve been taught by most of the teachers and I think they’ve been incredible because I really enjoyed being taught by them. Most importantly, my English has definitely improved in every way and I believe that I have achieved what I came for. Honestly if I am going to recommend any English school to my Syrian friends, it will be LAL.
Adeeb Badnjki – Syria – Business English

Standard General + Business: 15 hours General English + 7.5 hours Business English, max 12/15 students per class, all year, level Intermediate (B1) and higher. A combination of General English with Business English for a cost-effective course combining all-round language learning with business-specific English.
Premium General + Business: Smaller classes: 15 hours General English + 7.5 hours Business English, max 6 students per class, all year, level Intermediate (B1) and higher. A combination of General English with Business English for a cost-effective course combining all-round language learning with business-specific English.
Premium Business: 15 hours Business English lessons each week, 6 students per class, all year, Intermediate (B1) or higher. Our Business English course provides morning lessons of Business English. This course is designed to promote confidence among the students when in a business situation, or when needing to use English for professional, business purposes.
Executive Intensive Business: 22.5 hours Business English lessons each week, 6 students per class, all year, Intermediate (B1) or higher. Our Executive Intensive Business English course provides 15 hours of morning lessons of Business English and 7.5 hours of afternoon Business English lessons each week. This course is designed to promote confidence among the students when in a business situation, or when needing to use English for professional, business purposes.
