StopPress - The LAL Torbay students' magazine

February 2011

Andy Tyrrell, Editor of StopPress

We've got a short edition for you the shortest month of the year, but we've managed to squeeze in an article about St Ives, which is one of the best known towns in Cornwall and popular with both artists and cats. We also look back forty years to the time when Britain's currency changed, and back a bit further to some of the world's greatest composers.

If you want to try a traditional British recipe, we tell you how to make shortbread: but will you be a cook or cooker? You can find that out too!

A quick word of warning: next month it's Comic Relief and Red Nose Day: if you will be here on 18th March, start planning a fancy dress costume now!
