New Tour for 2010 To Cardiff, Caerdydd
For the first time ever, The Adult Leisure Programme will be running a tour outside England. On Saturday 26th June we will be crossing the English border and across the River Severn into the Country of Wales.
We will be heading for the country's capital city, Cardiff, famous for its superbly preserved Castle, St Davids Castle, the re-developed Port and Tiger Bay docks area, The Millennium National Stadium, home to its legendary National Rugby team, and maybe not quite as legendary National Football Team and the outstanding City Centre shopping area.
Wales also has its own language which is still widely spoken throughout the country. Passports will not be required for the trip and our journey will include crossing the Severn River on the Prince of Wales Bridge.
We will also be including a 1-1.5 hour walking tour around the sights of the city with renowned Green Badge Official Tour Guide, Robert Llewellyn. There will also be time to explore the sights and attractions that this famous city has to offer before our return home.
