Winchester

Buttercross and High Street, Winchester
Winchester (Winchester City Council)

England's ancient capital of Winchester is located in Hampshire, an hour from London, Stonehenge and many other destinations of interest. The multitude of shops in its High Street, both large and small, offer a wide variety of goods and souvenirs.

St Swithun's

LAL Summer Schools runs a residential English programme at St Swithun's in Winchester. St Swithun's is the perfect location for students, easy to get to, just an hour from London and other must-see destinations such as Stonehenge, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club and the university city of Oxford, and the school is very close to the sea and the Isle of Wight.
