Accommodation: AI 'Sunrise' Residence

The AI Residence accommodation is located 4 miles south of the school, only one mile away from the beach, and offers easy access to down town Fort Lauderdale, shopping centres and restaurants. The comfortable air-conditioned shared rooms are furnished with twin beds, desks and chairs, a refrigerator and microwave, and a private bathroom. There are laundry facilities, a shared kitchen, swimming pool, two computer labs and a student lounge with flat screen TV, Play Station, DVD player and vending machines.

There are 50 rooms with twin beds. The residence offers clean and comfortable shared rooms with air conditioning, student desks and chairs, mini refrigerator and microwave, and shared private bathroom.

Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, WC, and basin.

Utilities

Electricity, heating and lighting are included in the price. Electricity is 110V, 60Hz AC.

Internet and phone

There are two fully-equipped computer labs in the residence.

Laundry

Laundry machines are available and cost $1.25 for each washer and dryer load. Irons are available.

Security and keys

Students are issued with a key to their room on arrival.

Bed linen, towels and cleaning

Clean bed linen and two towels will be given to the student upon arrival.

Deposit & Damage Charges

There is a USD30 deposit.  Deliberate damage must be paid for at cost.

Visitors

Non-residents will be asked to leave the hotel premises by 22.00.

Noise and restrictions

Noise must not be heard outside the bedrooms at any time.
