Students coming to LAL Language Centres may occasionally experience interruptions to their travel arrangements. Travel Interruptions can include delays, postponements, and cancellations, and these can be caused by a variety of factors which might include airline service issues, industrial action or meteorological conditions. The recent volcanic eruptions in Iceland are an example of such conditions. Students or their representatives should contact the relevant school manager to discuss any specific concerns.
In the event of any student being delayed or prevented from returning to their country of origin or onward destination on account of interruptions to travel, we will assist in helping students find temporary accommodation. We will ensure that any person under the age of 18 is properly looked after until such time as they can be reunited with their parents, guardians or other legal representatives, although we are obliged to recover any additional expenses incurred.
We refer our students to our published Terms and Conditions, available on our website, which oblige that all students are covered by adequate travel and medical insurance for the full duration of their course before starting their journey to an LAL Language Centre. It is our policy that all children following our Young Learner Courses in the UK are automatically insured by us at no additional charge. However, all clients are responsible for ensuring that any insurance cover is sufficient to meet their own specific requirements.
Our Terms and Conditions refer to our cancellation policy and to matters beyond our control. We will always do everything we can to help re-arrange any course at no additional charge.
