Founded in 1998, Link Campus is the Italian branch of the University of Malta. The University of Malta was originally established in 1592 and has a worldwide reputation for high quality teaching. The university was the first foreign higher education institution to be issued with a licence by the Italian Department of Education to allow it to run courses in Italy and Link Campus now offers degrees at undergraduate and masters levels.
Located in the Umbrian town of Città della Pieve, in central Italy, Il Perugino Institute provides educational experiences to students who seek to enhance their university career with a study abroad experience.
The Institute is housed in a 16th century Palazzo with spaces adorned by arcades and frescoes of immense beauty. Classrooms are fully equipped to carry out the educational and cultural activities of the centre. Facilities include a library, a computer lab and a reading room provided with wireless internet access.
Students are encouraged to "live" the town and all resources in Città della Pieve are also available; library, sport facilities and museums. Several cultural events, such as lectures, concerts or exhibitions, are held throughout the year and most of these events are open to students free of charge.
Thanks to its strategic position in the heart of Italy, Città della Pieve is also the ideal starting point for any cultural tours in Umbria or nearby Tuscany and public transport is widely available.
