London

London Eye

Samuel Johnson said that 'when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life' and there are few cities in the world with more to offer than Britain's capital.

From the tourist must-sees of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge and the London Eye, to some of the most important museums and art galleries in the world, and finishing with top class restaurants, night clubs and theatres, London really can claim to 'have it all'.

Twickenham is in the borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, in London transport zone 5. Twickenham, like all of London, has excellent public transport links to the centre of the city.

The river Thames

Twickenham has plenty to see and do, with shops, art galleries, museums, historic houses, wide open spaces and, of course, the famous rugby stadium nearby which has a museum and tours. Nearby you can visit Henry VIII's palace at Hampton Court, the world-famous Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and Richmond Park, the biggest in London. Of course, it would be impossible to describe all London's attractions here: the city has some of the most famous sights in the whole world, from Nelson's Column to Big Ben, but also an almost endless variety of less well-known locations.
