The role of ADOS is directly concerned with the education and welfare of overseas junior students as well as the management of all academic staff on site. This requires the post-holder to engage in all aspects of summer school work as directed by the Centre Manager and the Academic Department at LAL London.
The role of Summer School Senior Teacher is directly concerned with the education and welfare of overseas junior students. Whilst performing the same duties as a Residential EFL Teacher, the Senior Teacher is also expected to assist the ADOS in ensuring the successful running of the academic programme. This will involve keeping abreast of all relevant administrative details and issues whilst maintaining an open flow of information between all academic staff. The Senior Teacher will also be expected to act as cover ADOS when necessary.
The role of our Summer School Teachers is directly concerned with the education and welfare of overseas junior students. This requires the post-holder to teach English to foreign students aged 9 – 17 years and also take an active part in the leisure programme. Our residential teachers are not expected to perform night or morning duties and in return we expect engaging, dynamic classes for all our students.
