She is from Gabon and lives in France and he’s from Portugal – an impossible love story, right? Wrong!
Arlene and Gustavo met in LAL Cape Town, fell in love and now have a beautiful family together. 🇬🇦🇵🇹
Vinícius is from Brazil and went to LAL Torbay to combine his two goals: to learn English and discover a beautiful new country. He also made some great friends along the way! 😎
Cansu is from Istanbul, Turkey and came to LAL Torbay to improve her English, particularly her speaking skills.
She made lots of new friends with us and took the opportunity to learn and practise English with her fellow students. The friendships Cansu made meant it was hard to say goodbye at the end of her studies! 🙁
Cintia and Monica are from different parts of Switzerland, but they met here at LAL Cape Town and had some great experiences with us studying for their CAE exam! 😉
Stacy is from Russia and she went to St. Mary’s to study English with LAL. She was particularly impressed with three important details… check it out to find out what! 😀
“The staff are really nice and always help you with a smile.
Here I’ve found a lot of friends. I think everyone should go here because it will be a great experience for you. You’ll be more confident, I think it’s great.”
“I think English is an international language… it’s a good way to make friends with people from other countries.
The people here are really friendly, the teachers teach me a lot. It’s a beautiful place.”
“It’s so funny because we work with people from different cultures and different ages.
English has been a great tool to create a dialogue between all these different people. My family is Italian, but having the opportunity to be understood is fantastic so we can discover more about each other.”
“Learning English is important to communicate with the whole world… you need English for every job.
My first time here I was shy, but step by step I feel like I’m in my home. That’s amazing!”
“When I arrived here I couldn’t go out by myself because nobody could understand me.
Now I can say that I go by myself to supermarkets, restaurants and they understand me perfectly”.
