We base our levels on the Common European Framework (CEF). Here is a description of these levels and examples of how they compare with other common standards.

Our learning pledge

We’re confident that our teaching methodology and learning opportunities will allow you to reach your goals. We make sure that everyone is in the right class with a level test on the first day. If you do not progress as expected we will provide you with additional support to ensure your success at no additional cost. We guarantee you will reach your learning goals in the number of weeks below if:

  • You attend all your lessons
  • You participate fully in all classroom tasks and activities
  • Complete all homework
  • You use every opportunity to practise English outside the classroom
  • You have adequate linguistic capability

It could be in Portuguese, but I preferred to challenge myself and write my testimonial in English. I had Intensive English and it was four lovely weeks in LAL School. It was really good for me to interact with teachers and other schoolmates. My host mother, Bev and her mom were the best people that I met in Cape Town. I really felt at home. I will miss our conversation. Bev was a really mother for me . I have to say thanks for that.
